Castle Limbricht

The Limbricht castle, located on the border of a forest, is a so-called motte castle, meaning that the building is situated on a raised earthwork. As such, it's like an island in a pond. Moreover, it's history probably dates back to the 10th century and the castle as we now know it is built in a beautiful Renaissance style.
