Room for Third Man Revisited (1949), Perfume: The Story of a Murderer (2006) by Patrick Süskind or the hallucinogenic horror from The Descent (2005)... Limburg stimulates the imagination both aboveground and below. Dozens of metres underground is a labyrinth of hundreds of metres of corridors; lime caves. In all, province of Limburg has about 250 of these cold and damp corridors where lime used to be mined. These days, they are closed, dark caves (height about 2 to 10 m, width about 3 to 5 m) and increasingly used for (house) parties, workshops, hunts, student parties, Christmas markets, mountain bike journeys and other events. Not advisable for the claustrophobic or anyone afraid of bats.
