Turkish-Dutch single mother Meral from Almere is falsely labeled a fraudster by the Tax Office,
who then has her followed everywhere by social investigator Ron. She is about to lose everything – even her two young daughters – and is forced to make radical decisions to keep her family out of the clutches of the authorities. Yet it is Ron who decides her fate.
