Tess (18), a Flemish girl with Stockholm syndrome, stalks the introvert, Szabolcs (40) and his girlfriend Andrea in Budapest. Andrea surreptitiously approaches the young stalker, helping her confront Szabolcs with their shared past. Gradually, all three discover how much their tragic backgrounds affect their current relationships and learn to reconcile with this.
