Limburg Film Office during summer 2020
The Limburg Film Office will be on a summer break from July 24 till August 12. In case of urgent questions regarding shooting in Limburg or the regulations of the Limburg Film Fund, we will be available via e-mail. Otherwise we will come back to you after our summer break. Corona-protocol film launched
The Dutch Producers Alliance (NAPA) and the Dutch Content Producers Alliance (NCP) have launched the corona-protocol for film productions. The creation of the protocol is a collaboration with many professional associations in the Netherlands, such as the Dutch Academy For Film, Dutch Directors Guild and Actors Association. Limburg Film Fund 2020 update
2020 marks a new year for the Limburgian film industry. The Limburg Film Fund and Limburg Film Commission will merge into a Limburg Film Office. Currently, budgets and regulations are being changed. This means that till summer 2020 it will not be possible to ask for financial support for your project. According to our planning, the new regulations of the Limburg Film Fund will be published at latest August 1st via limburgfilmoffice.nl.

Dutch film industry works on corona-protocol
The Dutch film industry is developing a corona-proof filming protocol in order to be able to re-start the industry as soon as possible. The protocol consists of a new set of preventive rules relating to the coronavirus crisis and how to cope with shooting in the new social distancing society. In order to restart the production of audiovisual shootings the protocol has to be approved by the Dutch government. In some Nordic countries shooting has been jumpstarted again. Film in Limburg and COVID-19
March 13th the Dutch government implemented several heavy measurements to fight against the spread of the covid-19 virus. These measurements also have impact on the film sector in Limburg. Shootings, events and festivals have been canceled or postponed. The Limburg Film Commission is making an inventory of the effects of the virus on the industry. By doing that, we can work towards the best possible re-start of all the work within the industry and help filmmakers, companies and organisations in the best possible way.
